Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was in a tough spot, sandwiched between noisy bars playing music into the early hours, making it hard to get any sleep. The rooms were run down and desperately in need of renovation, with issues like plug sockets hanging out of the walls, lack of basic amenities like a microwave, and poor shower quality. The hotel pool was small and unsafe for children due to rowdy behavior, and the smell of smoke lingered in the rooms. On the positive side, being on the top floor next to friends was a relief from the noisy surroundings.
The hotel has clean and tidy rooms but the management and staff were rude towards me. The service was fantastic with helpful and lively staff, despite some arrogance from the boss. The location was nice with plenty of amenities nearby, though the setting was a bit old and scary at times. The dining experience was enjoyable and offers value for money. Overall, a mixed experience with some positive and negative aspects to consider.
The hotel has clean and tidy rooms but the area can be noisy, making it less peaceful for a relaxing holiday. The pool is nice, though not too large. The service was fantastic, especially from Jack and Alfie, always ready to help. The location, while convenient with nearby shops, had some issues like poor lighting in corridors. The dining experience was good, with tasty food offered. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The Golden Orange Apartments had rooms that were more out of order than in order and caused 3 power cuts. The service made me feel scared to even ask for anything, and I encountered rude staff during my stay. The location was fantastic near various shops and a park, but the atmosphere could be unsettling at times. The dining experience was great, especially the Korean food. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities were satisfactory overall.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that are basic but spotless, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms providing plenty of space. The bar staff, including Jack, Alfie, and Johnboy, are amazing and go out of their way to ensure a welcoming experience. The small pool is brilliant for kids, while the big pool with a 1.5m depth and awesome slide adds to the fun. However, the hotel appears run down and in desperate need of renovations, with various issues like hanging plug sockets and lack of essential amenities. Additionally, the noise from neighboring bars can disrupt the peace and quiet desired on a holiday.
